Choir Schedule

Choir rehearsals take place every Wednesday evening from 8 pm to 10 pm in the Richelieu Amphitheatre, 17, rue de la Sorbonne, 75005 Paris. RER B Saint-Michel or Metro Cluny - La Sorbonne.

October 2008 : wednesdays the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and the 29th.
November 2008 : wednesdays the 5th, 12th, 19th and the 26th.
December 2008 : wednesdays the 3rd, 10th and the 17th.
January 2009 : wednesdays the 7th, 14th, 21th and the 28th.
February 2009 : wednesdays the 4th, 11th, 18th and the 25th.
March 2009 : wednesdays the 4th, 11th, 18th and the 25th.
April 2009 : wednesdays the 1st, 8th and the 29th.
May 2009 : wednesdays the 6th, 13rd, 20th and the 27th.

 

Orchestra Schedule

Orchestra rehearsals take place every Monday evening from 7 pm to 21 pm in the CNR (Conservatoire), 14, rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris. Metro Europe.

September 2008 : monday the 29th.
October 2008 : mondays the 6th, 13rd, 20th and the 27th.
November 2008 : mondays the 3rd, 10th, 17th and the 24th.
December 2008 : mondays the 1st, 8th and the 15th.
January 2009 : mondays the 5th, 12th, 19th and the 26th.
February 2009 : mondays the 2nd, 9th, 16th and the 23rd.
March 2009 : mondays the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and the 30th.
April 2009 : mondays the 6th and the 27th.
May 2009 : mondays the 4th, 11th, 18th and the 25th.

 

Sunday Rehearsals

Sunday, October the 26th, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, November the 23rd, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, December the 14th, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, January the 11th, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, February the 1st, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, march the 8th, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, April the 5th, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday, May the 17th, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Places for Sunday rehearsals will be communicated as the musical season advances.

 

Schedule and program of concerts (subject to modifications)

Wednesday, December the 3rd at 6 pm in the amphitheatre Richelieu of the Sorbonne, concert of chamber music within the framework of "l'Heure Culturelle de l'Université Paris I". Program to be defined.

Musical Direction : Carlos Dourthé.

 

Tuesday and Wednesday, February the 3rd and the 4th in the amphitheatre of the Sorbonne, concerts of the orchestra, in the evening. WAGNER Opening of the Vaisseau Fantôme, TCHAIKOVSKI Concerto for violin, MENDELSSOHN Symphony n° 4.

Musical Direction : Carlos Dourthé. Solo violon : Raphaël Jacob.

 

Tuesday, March the 10th at 8.30 pm in the amphitheatre of the Paris Dauphine University, concert of the choir. Extracts of operatic arias.

Musical Direction : Guillaume Connesson.

 

Tuesday, May the 19th at 8.30 pm in the amphitheatre of the Sorbonne, concert of the orchestra and the choir. Extracts of operatics arias, MOZART Symphony n° 41.

Musical Direction : Carlos Dourthé.

 

Tuesday, May the 26th, journey of the orchestra and the choir in Chartres. DURUFLE Requiem, MOZART Symphony n° 41.

Musical Direction : Carlos Dourthé and Guillaume Connesson.
